Question driving me nuts who painted this

wow this site must get SO many of these question.

the profile pic, i know ive seen it but where! who did it what is it called, i am enamored by this picture, found it glued to a piece of glass in my great aunts (passed away) attic and fell in love with it. please help!

i guess no one knows? any help with who it looks like? its not raphael, but looks close. anyone?

It's Mary Magdalene, by Jean-Jacques Henner. I don't know where the original is, but there's a lithograph of it listed on this auction page (lot 2474):

Note the similarity to this painting, which is actually the first one I found, that told me that Henner must be the artist:

Question hmm

i looked at this picture but its not the same. the colors are richer, she is much softer and thicker than the picture that is in the above link. her position is almost the same, and i do see quite a few similarities with the artist, but i havnt found this particular picture in any of his works....

mary magdalane most likely....but i think its a different artist.....

im gonna pull my hair out! hehehehe

The link above is to a lithograph of the painting, which is basically an old-fashioned process in which an exact copy is made and colored in. So you can't expect the colors to be the same, but as far as I can see the image itself is exactly the same.
