Alpine Sunset by M. Wheat

I inherited a oil painting by M. Wheat entitled "alpine Sunset". this painting has been in our family for 3 generations and may have been brought to the USA via Poland around 1920. Any information regarding it would be appreciated

Findartinfo.com has a past auction listed for "M. Wheat". Unfortunately the painting went unsold, so there is no indication what the estimate was.

For $4.95 you can look up the remainder of whatever details Findartinfo.com has on file. Probably the auction house, possibly the estimate and/or additional description of the painting.

Also here's a record of a painting by "M. Wheat" being sold at Goodwill for $54, in 2009.
