Default oil painting by G. Cirocco

I have an old oil painting of 3 children playing on the beach on what appears to be a cloudy day and one is dragging a piece of seaweed. I was thinking about 1925. Signed by G. Cirocco. Who is he? The size may be near 320"x24". I will try to post a picture later when I figure out how to./Users/melijah23/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals/2009/Painting by G. Cirocco/100B2210.JPG

Sorry, but that still didn't work. Use the paperclip icon as I mentioned above, select the file you want to upload, and then you have to click the button "upload". I'll remove the restriction on posts needing to be moderated for you, so you can see when it works.

Default Old oil painting-29"x39"

This is an old oil painting that I got in an estate sale. it is 29"x39" and is unsigned with a dark tan course plain weave fabric stretched over wooden strips and a top lining fabric which is a herringbone twill weave fabric which is a dark tan also. The texture of the twill weave shows through the paint which is very old and dirty. I keep trying to upload the picture. Hopefully it will work this time. The painting is unsigned and undated with some crackling happening in the lower dark areas. The people look as though they were wounded in battle. A man in the lower left, who is laying down, has blood on his chest. The woman in red and white in the middle, has blood on her shoulder and the person laying down on the far left may be dead. A ladder is visible and people are coming up and one is holding a cross and another is carrying a shovel. The castle on the left seems to imply England, Europe, or Spain. I Think Spain because of the red and white warn by the woman in the middle. All are just guesses. Can Anyone shed any light on this?

Use the paperclip icon, select the file to upload (clicking "Open" when selected), then click "Upload". That should do it.

I have tried everything I can think to get the photo up. The site told me that the photo was too big. I went into my camera and reset it from 12 mp to 2.2 which is the lowest resolution I can go and it still says it is too big! I don't know where you would find a camera that old that did a low enough resolution for this site to accept it! I have never had this problem before. Any ideas?

You could use a photo editing program like IrfanView to reduce the size. This is free. A great tool. When installing only associate image files. To reduce size go to Image/Resize/Resample.

Yes, Irfanview is a super-easy image viewer that I use every day. And it lets you crop and resize images as well. Or you can upload to another image hosting site like Flickr or even Facebook and link to that.
