Hi I found two paintings at a junk store by A.Basir and would like to know what would be a good buy on them thanks

I can find no record of such an artist. I would say if you love them and want to hang them in your home, it's a good purchase.

I have been looking all over the internet and cant find him ether but the paintings are of a lake with a canoe palm trees and a grass hut. So I was thinking he might not be from the U.S. Also as I was diging around I found that there is a painter from Basir who went to scool in australia[A.basir?]the scene looked like it could be australia.

If it's in a junk store then you may never find him and he may not even exist. A lot of mass-produced paintings are signed with made-up names.
