Any information on this 1929 painting?

Can anyone tell me the artist name? Any information at all on this painting or artist will be greatly appreciated! Thanks very much!

I think the name ends in "ierski", which would make the artist's name Polish. That also fits the painting itself, which has that sort of look to it.

findartinfo.com has a nifty tool where you can search on any portion of an artist's name. I tried it on "iersk", but I don't think any of these artists match the signature.
