Hello,
I went passed through the Louvre in Paris on my travels about 8 years ago and fell in love with a painting. I am desperate to find out the artist's name, and get myself a copy. Please excuse my art ignorance in my explanation...it's very moody picture (possibly Renaissance?) with a sheer cliff edge as the centre point. There is a man desperately hanging on to a woman, with her drop imminent with a babe in arms. The weather is stormy, their faces expressive with the impending doom. Does anyone recognise this description please? I would be terribly grateful for your reply...Thank you very much |
