Default Help with painting and Artist

I'm looking for help identifying a very old painting. It is 44 3/4 by 30 1/2 and possible European.

The painting is very elaborate. Starting at the bottom, people are gathering and bundling either hay or wheat. Then there is a waterway with a bridge. There are trees to the left on another piece of land and a large wagon being pulled by oxen or horses. A man is standing before them guiding them forward. Above is another waterway. On it's banks are either large hills or small mountains with a suggestion of scattered houses and one large house. It is finished with a magnificent sky.
The painting is oil on board. It has a dark coating of varnish on it, and could be two hundred years or older. The painting is in a beautiful hand-carved period frame. If it were not lit most of its loveliness would be lost in varnish.
Attached please find picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No signature of any kind? No markings on the back or frame?

I do like the painting. Lovely color, nice light on the fields. I'm not an expert, but my guess would be that it's from the second half of the 19th century (or is possibly a later painting in the same style).
