Awesome Anatomy Vintage Horse Sketches signature "A"

I have 4 ink sketches of horses and fouls in pastors ..some pretty awesome anatomy! In the bottom right corner of each sketches the letter "A" They are sealed in frames and yellowed with age...excellant condition otherwise. Can someone tell me if they know the Artist. I acquired these in Vermont near New York border..maybe something from the old horse racing days in Vt. or from the Saratoga Area. ..I have searched endlessly.

Congratulations! You have some very rare original prints from C. W. Anderson. "Mares and Colts Grazing" and "Mares Running their Colts" Two of your Prints are rare and the other two prints I don't know the titles but they all are definetely C.W. Anderson with the "A" symbol in bottom right corner and the prints can be seen on equitainment. The best!
