Russian nobleman
This is a long shot because I don't have much information. I am trying to find the name of a painiting I saw many years ago in a Sunday magazine. It is of a seated horseman- Russian I think. It has stayed in my mind because of the patrician look on the horseman's face. There are no other people in the picture.
