Help with identifying paintings

I bought these two paintings for our baby's room. They are on canvas and we think, re-framed. Seems like oil painting- but I'm not sure. The name under is J.Hamilton or F.Hamilton or something like this- Maybe I just can't read it. I would be really happy if someone could help to find out who made these paintings.
