I was in a house recently, collecting some work stuff from a client, and they had a print of a painting that just grabbed me and I really want to know what it is called so I can see if I can get a print. There was no info on the pic but I took a pic with my phone so I can describe it well to you. I've attached the picture below so you can see it, its not great quality though.
It was a wooden window frame and there was a mother with three children, one was a fat baby with a bonnet on. The mother has a black scarf on her head and a red shawl which crosses over her body like it may be a traditional outfit. Its like they are posing for a photo but obviously its a painting. It was similar style to realism or maybe baroque but even saying that I'm not sure what defines them too well!! I'd be over the moon if anyone knows what it is!!! |
