Menucha

I found this unsigned drawing - or pastel ( there is a little colour on it i.e. the lips) down a cellar about 30 years ago.

It was in a very beautiful old carved wood frame, which unfortunately fell to pieces.

There was an old piece of paper on the back with the name Thomas Lawrence (or Sir Thomas Lawrence but I can't remember) and I think from memory it said The Lovely Sisters or something of that nature. The paper crumbled into little pieces.

The picture is a bit darkI'm afraid, the there is a shadow on teh left hand side where the older child's hand is on the younger child's shoulder
