we found an old Dong Kingman in very good shape that was given to my grandfather from Dong (signed to my grandparents in 1948...I believe a NYC factory scene). I am looking for the best way to get it appraised or where to sell it...

Findartinfo.com has a bunch of sample auction results for Dong Kingman. To get this particular work appraised you'd need to contact an art appraiser (try under "appraisers" in the Yellow Pages). To sell it, you could contact a local gallery or auction house.
You might want to have an appraiser look at it first anyway, and they could possibly advise you on how best to proceed. |

We represent the Kingman estate.
http://www.californiawatercolor.com Then use the drop down list for Dong Kingman. Go to our "Free Estimates" page, fill it out and attach a picture of the painting. We will give you a value. Michael Johnson |
