Default Guorra, Gudrra, Gudirra? Who is this artist?

Can anyone tell me who this artist is and if these paintings are important?

My uncle had these when he died. Currently they are hanging in a hunting camp so I want to make sure that they are not important. If they are important, I'd like to donate them to the appropriate museum in my uncle's name.

They appear to be done in 1967 or 1962 but a search for the name "Guorra" came up empty. My uncle lived in San Antonio Texas and he had an aunt who worked in the US embassy in South Africa. We think that the aunt gave him the paintings after she moved to San Antonio.

My uncle was a very poor man and I would be thrilled if these paintings could keep his memory alive in a museum.

I think the first one might read "Guerra '62".
