Trying to find out more information about this painting.
Painting is signed "C. There's a Charles C. Stewart who seems to have signed his paintings "C. Stewart", or at least that's who the owners are attributing it to. Unless your painting is kind of crazy and abstract, I doubt it's the same person.
I also came across a painting of Corfu dated 1955 signed "C. Stewart", which seems more like the kind of thing you probably have.
