Default Help to identify a Russian Socialist Realism Painting Artist

Dear Friends
I am sending this email from Turkey and I request your expertise on translation or encryption of one Russian Socialist Realism artist's signiture.
Lately I owned an old 'Lenin in Smolny' painting from Turkish custom office auction, this painting looks like at least 50 or more years old. It was confiscated by custom officials from someone travelling from Ukrain or former USSR to Turkey almost six years ago, I guess due to lack of Official certification. It is oil on canvas and the size of it 140 cm by 90 cm.
Maybe the best features of this piece is it is signed by the painter not the ones which produced just for propaganda reason with no signature.
As you may see from the photos it was folded during its travelling and folding parts are lost some paint.
When I searched about the artist from the kiril alphabet it seems ' V.M? ......' My request is your help to encrip the painter identity especialy by the Russian natives.

Thanks for your help in advance and your close interest on fine arts.

Very interesting painting. It reminds me of the solemn interiors of certain Scandinavian painters such as Carl Holsoe and Vilhelm Hammershoi. I couldn't begin to read the signature, but it looks to me like the first letter is a "B".

Hello atirpanci
The original of this famous painting is from 1930 and by Isaac Israilevich Brodsky (1884-1939). There are thousands of copies in Russia and old soviet countries. You are right about the first letter of the signature of your copy, a "V" but the letter for the family name could be also CH. I am searching.....
