Google Having Difficulty Identifying Painting

Hi everyone. I have been trying to figure out who paints this painting for a long time now. There is not visible signature on it that I can identify. It was purchased as a print from London Drugs a number of years ago. Thanks for any help!!

A friend suggested that it is an early work by Leonid Afremov. I can't find the exact work, but the style looks very similar to me. Can anyone confirm this, or point me in the direction of someone who can?

I didn't see anything of Leonid Afremov's work online that resembles this. Maybe his early work, who's to say, but frankly this picture has a lot more going for it than Afremov's work (IMO).

Leonid has confirmed that it is not his. He says that he never paints in so much dark red.
