Hi, Hopefully someone can ID this painting or knows about the artist. It was in our house when it was purchased ~ 40 years ago in NW Washington and no one in the family has ever been able to find out anything about it.
To me the signature appears to be G Walden Also any tips on cleaning and preserving this? The colors are very dim, the pictures came out much better than it appears in natural light. Thanks for you time! CZ |

This is my first time in this site. Not too sure if I'm asking my question in the proper place, but here goes.
Aproximately 50 years ago my aunt had 2 paintings hanging above her bed in her bedroom. She died many, many years ago and I never found out what happened to the 2 paintings, but can remember them fairly well and would stare at those paintings for hours when I was a little girl. Each painting was of a baby; one with dark curly hair, and the other baby had no hair and blue eyes. Both were in ovel-shaped frames. Does anyone know who the artist was, and if/where I would find copies of these paintings? Any info will be very much appreciated. Thank you. Barb |
