I have a print entitiled "Sampans at Sunset" signed by an artist called "Woody". I have attached pictures. I would enjoy learning more about it if anyone can help.

I, too, have a print entitled Sampans at Sunset by Woody - number 629. I love it and would like to know more about it. How do I look at the photos which were submitted by Bruce.

I found a print of sampans at sunset no.429 size 11x14" by woody, it says its by gellman, the autograph says woody '65

Bruce,

Try using a service like PhotoBucket (photobucket . com) to upload your pictures and then post the links. I've had trouble with the photo uploading service for the board myself - mostly because my pictures are too big. An account at PhotoBucket is free unless you want more space.

I've never posted about anything, yet, I would like to know any info on this painting too. I have an oil, just over 4 feet by 2 feet. The picture I saw on the album appears to show just one of the sampans. Any one able to help me out? Respectfully, S

I have "Sampans at Sunset", 2 ft. x 4 ft., also signed Woody '65.
I bought it in 1966 or 1967 and it's been on my wall ever since...I love it.
I have tried to find other work by the artist, but so far have had no luck.
No one seems to know anything about this "Woody" person.

Ok this is getting a bit more interesting. I had a freind who passed away and he had another of the exacst same prints with the same info on the back including the #629 so now I have 2 of them but I do not know anything more about them.

My mother passed and she has had this painting since before I was born. It is signed Woody 65' and the number is 429. Has anyone located any information on this?
