Default Very Very old painting need help

Can someone point me in the right direction. We have this old painting.
Something from the 1600's I think.

Anyways signed in the corner is M. Barretta then signed Romanelli.

who should I talk to about weather it has value or not or anything about the artist?

Looks like its been cut from a larger scene/painting.. or that part has been copied from an original piece .. doesn't seem quite right to me as a portrait of an early era, I could understand a female figure as portrayed, within a scene that tells some kind of tale.. but not as is. Just my opinion.
