Hi, during a scene of the film scoop, they quickly refer to a painting and then move on. My wife loves the painting and i am secretly trying to identify it so i can then obtain a copy if possible and surprise her for our forthcoming anniversary.
I have attached a screen shot and would be very grateful for any help you can give, Regards Terry |

Hallo tezdebs;
I think that this might be a freud. (The English painter). It looks like his "realist" style, from the choice of model, to the dark background, and way the flesh is painted. It only my opinion of course. You could try contacting Christie's or Sothebys. R Gutsell |

Hi Robert
thanks for your response. I checked out all of Freuds work and, all very similar, but he is not the artist but many thanks for your advice. Anyone help as my anniversary looms?? If I cant find it, its back to flowers andc hocolates for my wife!! Regards all Terry |
