I don't know if anyone can help me. I'm looking for a renaissance/baroque era painting of two very young girls, maybe sisters? one has brown curly hair and the other has blonde curly hair. The edges of the painting are fuzzy and it's circular. The girls look very "cherubic" with the pink flushed cheeks and they're both smiling. It's just upper body and I remember a lot of red/pinks in the painting. I have been searching all night long. I don't know the name of the artist or the name of the painting and I could be totally wrong about the time period (but I don't think I am.) If you have any idea what I'm even talking about I would love to hear it. Even just the name of an artist. Whatever you've got.
Thanks, Cade |

Thomas Lawrence is not Victorian. The painting isn't Baroque either, it's really Grand Manner portraiture, but I think the identification is correct.

Hi Cade,
Was the information that you received what you were looking for? If so we have an oil painting of The Calmady Children mounted on a beautiful frame that we are looking to sell. Let us know if you (or anyone else) is interested in more info. Thanks, J & M |
