I too have a print of the same title and artist which was taken off the original painting circa 1920

Probably a work of Francis Davis Millet 1846-1912 but the art inventory of the Smithsonian does not mention a painting with this title for Millet. A new name for a painting known with another title ("How the gossip grew" for example)? Can't we have an image of your painting Chad?

FD Millet showed a work of this title at the Royal Academy in London in 1888. There have been old prints after it - both engravings and photogravures - offered on ebay recently.
