Hi, I received a picture from my Grandmother many years ago and have been looking for information on it. About 20 years ago, there was a small paragraph in the Reader's Digest that showed this painting, gave the artist, name of the painting and stated that this was a priceless painting but I did not save it. It is a picture of a women looking into a pond. The woman has very light wings on her back. The rest of the picture shows scenery. The picture has a very light yellow hue to parts of it. Handwritten on the back of it is : Old J W ___ work. I can't make out the last name. It may begin with an F or a J and is only a few letters long. Any ideas about this painting?
