wondering if you were able to find out the value of your christmas cracker prints because i just recently purchased both prints at a old antique shop and i am curious of the true value of the prints.

Default W.H.Trood Christmas Crackers

These prints of W.H.Trood's Christmas Crackers are very rare, and very collectible. The subject's in the pictures are very lifelike, and reflect the actions of animals at play & reaction's to exploding fireworks. I have had a cherished set of the two pictures for well over 50 years, and they are displayed where I constantly receive positive comments. I have turned down several hundred dollars for these pictures as they were given to me by my Grandfather.

I bought these two prints at a bric-a-brac sale this week, lovely pictures but they don't seem to be that rare if all of you have them too.

I believe there were 3 prints in this set. One with the dogs pulling the cracker, a second with the cracker exploding, and a third with the scene aftermath. I am going on memory of a friend of mine having all 3 in his hallway. I unfortunatelt only have the one with the cracker exploding, but would like the other 2.

I may be wrong but I believe there were 3 prints, not 2. One with the dogs pulling the cracker, a second with the cracker exploding, and a third with a scene of the aftermath. I say this because I am sure an old friend of mine had all 3 displayed in a row in his hallway. I unfortunately only have the one with the cracker exploding, but would like to have all three.
