Default Beary ar din

I have two paintings on canvas. One is a front view of a single oriential boat that has a orange-yellowish sail. There are two seagulls flying next to the boat. The other painting is a side view of three boats sailing at night. The boats have blue sails. There are no marking to the paintings. The only thing is the words written in pencil on the back of the frame - Beary ar din (or du). Does anyone know what this means? Does anyone know anything about the paintings? Are they originals? You can feel the paint lines on the painting but I can't tell if they are real or artifical. Is it acrylic paint? Is it oil, etc?

Can anyone help?
