My painting is large, 1.2mtrs X 1.5mtrs. It is oil, very thick in places and I have yet to figure out what it represents. I will try to describe it. The background is off white and there are large parrallel lines of gold through to brownish in the middle of the canvas which meet in the middle and dip downwards - it looks like an upside down mountain! The name Lee Reynods is in the left hand corner.
I am not able to send a photo as I am not computer literate and do not know how to send it. Can anyone help me to understand it or let me know about the artist. I believe there are many 'Lee Reynolds' |

I have one just signed "reynolds". I found one other one out there that someone posted that is similar to mine but it is signed "lee reynolds". I don't know if that means anything.

I have a Painting signed " Lee Burr " .. On the back of the painting has a label of
( Turner Wall Accessory ) 1714 L68 MYSTIC GALLEONS.. More information available if needed and photographs as well.. I was wondering if this is an original or a reproduction painting from Lee Burr.. I know it is on a canvas and oil paint with very old frame work. Please reply to cobra4x4s@gmail.com and a general estimate on what it may be worth.. Thanks for your help in advance.. |

if your painting is signed by Lee Reynolds it is probably a studio copy, mass produced and worth very little. There must be 5 or 6 people who have posted above that talk about having the same painting of two ships. Obviously another mass produced piece. I also own a pastel 4'x5' painting signed by Lee Reynolds and I am resigned to the fact that it really isn't worth all that much because there are probably at least 50 more exactly like it out there somewhere.

For many years, I've been curious about a huge painting in my parents' beach condo. Today, I realized the reflection in the water doesn't match the buldings. It's not even close actually and once you ask people to "tell me what's wrong with this picture," they see it. I think it makes it more cool, but is it valuable? I can email a pic to anyone. I also have a large painting signed Lee Reynalds. The painting shows mountains, lights and a sunset. There is no title.

I bought a painting that is simply signed Reynolds. Although a lot of people say that he signed his works this way and that, I compared my signature to originals shown online. The "Reynolds" matches. I think it is best to have someone look at the signature and confirm. Maybe a writing expert? He signed his name Lee Reynods, Lee Reynolds Burr and I even saw one LR. So just get it looked at and do research yourself. I believe he just signed them however he wanted to and even some students signed the works, although if you look at the signature there could be inconsistencies that would give them away,
