I purchased a large painting (10ftx8ft) from an estate sale. it has a signature on the right bottom corner of " ANDOVER" It is very unique and is certainly a conversation piece.. and for that reason I would like to know more about it and the artist.... please help...
the painting is a portrait of a hallway or museum ?? it has a very large candle lit chandelier that is surrounded by carved angels around its mount (on the ceiling where the chandelier is hung). the flooring is very unique because it draws its audience into the painting with its reflections from its white tile that has black diamond edging. it also has many doors on both sides of the "hall way" or entry way leading to large glass french like doors. It is a mysterious painting due to the fact that the more one looks at it the more there is to see.. almost like hidden doors and more carvings that didnt seem to be there at a first glance...
I have tried to find out any information about it online but as of now...No luck... help please... thanx
