I have a painting signed Medeiros (no first initial) It is the little girl with the blue dress and white apron, pigtails and duck untying her shoes. It is 15 inches by 30 inches. My father got it at a yard sale probably at least 25 years ago and gave it to me because the little girl reminded him of me when I was little. Are these paintings very common and what is the value?

I have a painting by medeiros no first initial it seems that it have been in the family for at least 50 years. This painting is of a Madona with a child infant, The Madona has a blue matle over her head. The signature is just medeiros. Does anyone know who is this artist? what is name and from where is he? I also have a oil painting of a little girl, but she is in a red dress with a bow on the sided and lace at the bottom of her dress.Her hair is flipped on one side and a bow on the other. she has her right index finger in her mouth, and flowers in her left hand.
