Identity Help

This painting belonged to my Mom who passed away at age 89. It is done in tempra paint on paper. It's probably 50+ years old. Any help with identity would be greatly appreciated.

The last name looks like "Baertschi", which is a real name. I don't know any artists of that name, though.

For what it's worth - this painting was found in Iowa.
