1904? Pencil Drawing Signed GAK...Please help !!
I have recently purchased an art collection from a very old Italian couple from Upstate NY. Here's the first of a few listings. It is an original pencil drawing with the date ( on back ) 04' NYC. It is signed GAK. With the G over top of the A and the K next to the G and A.
Very high end drawing.....anyone know who this artist is? I looked on the Net for every combo of GAK and could not find artist. Please help....I have included 2 pictures. Dino Pro Dprove1034@aol.com   |

I can give you three conceivable possibilities for GAK, although the odds are it's none of them. If it's an illustrator rather than a fine artist then I probably wouldn't have them on a list.

I also have some pencil drawings with GAK.
I do not know if it is the same artist but the style sure looks like it. One of the pictures is dated 1865. I have one pic with the signiture. These drawings are just short of magnificent. They were found under some drawers in an antique cabinet.
