Default Latour/LaTour???

Hi. You probably get a lot of this, but here goes..... I bought a LATOUR oil on canvas about 20 years ago at a junk store because I liked it. It was pricey at the time. Now I'm sure what I've got. Does anybody recognize the painting? I am not sure if its Georges de LaTour, Henri Fantin Latour, or some other LaTour like Mira or Maurice etc. I would like to at least identify the artist and obtain a new value on the painting. Can you help me?

It appears that my file is too big for this forum to post a pic of the painting. Please email me at louelliot@gmail.com if you wish to see the pic

Sincerely, Marilu Elliot

Smile Latour - need help

Sorry about the typo. I meant "I am [not] sure what I've got." Just to set the record straight. Any help would be appreciated. Wish I could upload the pic. The file is too large.

Greetings,

I can say for certain that your painting is not by Georges de La Tour, Henri Fantin-Latour or Maurice Quentin de Latour. I was not familiar with Mira Latour, so I did a Google search. I don't think your painting is done by Mira - based on what I found. Mira's subject matter (primarily Oriental) and color pallet (deeper earth tones) is much different. All I could find were poster reproductions - no biographical information or time period of works.

Best wishes in finding out more information about your painting.

Question

A related question: Could this be an authentic signature of Fantin-Latour?
