Default John R.Good

I was looking for something about the watercolor I found in the back of a picture frame that has an embroidered white linen cloth that say's 'Love Grows Through Patience' that my Mother had done years ago. The glass was getting dull looking so I took off the back of the frame and underneath it I found a John R.Good painting exactly like the one on flicker that the person who posed this question post on there.

Mine is a approximately 12" by 9" but it has a border so it's actually 14" by 11" the border makes it look like it's matted. on the bottom of the matting it say's SC-1 in the bottom left hand corner, then in the center of it there's a copyright logo and this follows it '1951 ARGOSY PICTURE PUBLISHING CO., INC., NEW YORK CITY' then, on the bottom right hand corner is say's 'MADE IN U.S.A.' I know this is an old post, but I thought if someone was to look for his name by chance they would still know that people love his work as I do. It is something I will treasure forever .

I found the same pic of New York inside the frame of my my mom's wedding picture. Is there any financial value to these water color prints?

I've got a few that I would consider selling. Can I email you photos?

I found a drinking/serving tray with a picture of horses jumping over a hedge in a race at Belmont Park. The jockey have colors on etc. It says 1953 Argosy Picture Publishing Co. Inc. The artist name in Frank Groth and The title is called "Belmont".
Dont know if this helps anyone but I am looking for information on this as well.
