HELP Please... Identity of this painter
Hello art lovers,
I need help identifying the artist of this painting. The signature appears very unique, unfortunately it is completely unledgeable to me. This painting, I am told, hung in a palace in Holland. ( I didn't know Holland had palaces ) at any rate, I would sincerely appreciate it if anyone knows who this painter is. The canvass appears to be very old. Joe   |

It is a painting by Hermann Courtens 1884-1956.

The painting of the ship signed "J. Links" is byJoseph Links. I have an original painting of the clipper ship Cutty Sark. I found a website with posters of different ships he has painted. I would like additional information about the artist.
