This is going to sound obscure and silly, but in 2006, I was on a cruise to the Bahamas and came across an oil painting (for sale) that has stuck with me ever since. I am desperately trying to find the painting but I have very little to go on. I am unsure of the artist, but the description of the painting is below. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

The painting was darkly colored with rich reds and deep browns in the background. The main focus was the bare back of a wounded soldier with an angel wrapping him in an american flag. The painting was both moving and raw and had rich tones and details.

If anyone has any thoughts, I would love to hear them. I know it is not a lot to go on, but I feel like if you saw it, you would remember it too. Even if anyone has and ideas about how to search for it, that would be great as well.
