I have four suggestions, all from the Getty Museum's ULAN database:

Alexandre Eugène Castelnau (French painter, 1827-1894)
Auguste Elysée Chabaud (French painter, sculptor, and writer, 1882-1955)
Alfred Edward Chalon (British painter and illustrator, 1780-1860)
Alfred Egerton Cooper (British painter, 1883-1974)

I haven't looked up any of them, so I have no opinion on which if any the artist could be.
