Question Trying to identify a painting I saw in the Louvre...

Hi, I've been trying to find the name and artist of this painting I saw in the Louvre for ages. Does anyone know it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

That was in the Louvre? I don't recall that painting at all.

Yeah, definitely. It was in one of those small rooms that have the smaller ones off to the sides looking out over the courtyard. Sorry that I can't be more specific, I just can't remember what floor it was on or anything...

Yeah, definitely. It was in one of the rooms that has the smaller rooms coming off it overlooking the courtyard. It was above ground floor too but I can't remember exactly where.

Default Louvre Painting?

Greetings,

You might try saving the image to jpeg - in faster loading resolution for the web - and uploading it to ArtConversation. I tried several times to view the image from your link and it was taking a "dinner and a lunch" to load. Finally, I was able to view it today (still took a long time to load). I saved the image to try to re-save it and post to this site, but my software doesn't read png images.
