Who is this Artist of this watercolor?

I salvaged this water color from the basement of a house I moved into which had flooded. It was intact but had major mold growing in between the glass and the painting. So I felt I had no choice but to cut the paper off of the back and dismantle the painting out of the frame in order to try to quickly save it.

Once I cleaned the mold off using a dry cloth, I saw this painting which I find to be very interesting and wish someday soon to have it restored. But I would like to know who painted it. The only identification I could find is "august 44" in the left hand corner.

Could you please post another copy of the painting as cannot view it fully on that webpage.

Hmmm, it works for me, but you have to wait for a while for the picture to appear (it's embedded in a Flash applet). However I don't recognize the artist.
