Recently purcchased painting and was looking for help identifying artist

I found this painting at a thrift shop and was just wondering if some one could help me get a little more info on the painting and the artist as well. The signature is in the lower left, and appears to be "Barnes". So, i guess i cant post a picture, is there any other way to get a larger pic posted?

You can post a picture, or else put it on a free hosting website such as Flickr and link to it. The latter is best if you want to include a large image.
