Can someone please help me figure out the name on this print - It appeares to be a watercolor & ink rendering of a Venice scene with Gondolas. It is a limited/Numbered print of 426/500 and i can't read the artist's name at all. The style is very unique which is why i purchased it in the first place.
Thank you in advance for any ideas someone might have. Amy |

its certainly a unique style I don't think you would mistaken it if you were to see another work by this artist.
If you don't mind me asking... where and how long ago did you purchase the print? It would narrow the search a bit. |

I agree Nitsamu - quite unique and baffling on the research end.
I purchased it about two weeks ago in Oregon at a thrift store of all places and was drawn to it immediately. It does have a previous 'tag' still atattched to the back that tells me it was in a show - the only info it says is 'Signed venice print' / Space #36/ $135 - I wish there was more to go on. By the way i did not spend anywhere near that price for it and feel fortunate to have found it - The almost sketchy pen work almost reminds me a bit of R.O. Blechman's illustrations but I highly doubt this is his....signature's are very different. Thanks for the interest and the inquiry Nitsamu. If you find anything at all or even just have an idea, please shoot it my way! Have a great day! Amy |
