I hope someone can help. I've been trying to find the name of a copy/painting I saw some time ago. It depicts 3/4 young women sitting outside a building/square. All beautifully dressed and cheerful. One maid has her hair loose - it is long, very wavey and a stunning red colour. I think she wore a red stripe gown. The colours and style are similar to W.A. Bouguereau - but it isn't him. I did ask for it's title and the owner thought it may be something like "maids in village square/market square" but I haven't been able to locate it. If anyone could help I would be most grateful.

for John please
Not absolutely useful to post this one on the board. Just a question. The answer above was done within a registered visit. i wonder why it is wtritten as unregistered? Was it because I give two answers on two different post in the same visit? |

I don't know. Presumably it's a bug in the software somewhere, but I just barely know enough about this bulletin board software to keep it running.

lovely - but not the one I'm afraid. I managed to take a pic. but cant attach it. more info; 3 older girls in forefront (red head getting hair brushed by woman standing and has a basket of yarn beside hair and a piece of material on her lap). She seems to be listening to a woman on her right who has red/white stripped dress and right arm outstretched in conversation. 2 younger girl in background sitting at a table. - sorry to be a bother! - Net
