Frederick N Atwood was a painter of oils and gouaches' as well as a fresco painter of Opera Houses, Theatres and estates using the Victorian stencils and custom color mixing. He was weel known in this field and had a pretty thriving business based out of Chicago.
During lulls betweeen jobs, he painted pictures and sold them.
His best known painting is the USS Maine

However even though there are several more paintings owned by individuals, because he is not "listed" appraisers are not willing to give the owners any sort of value. Do you have any suggestions on how to :
1. Get FNA's name listed more prominately?
2. Go about finding someone who would be willing to give valuations?
3. Where to start in making his work more avialable, should it be online?
