Default Help identifying a picture in my mom's house

Hi Everyone,

I am new here and I am hoping someone can help me identify a picture that is in my mom's house. She passed away 5 years ago now and my dad knows nothing about the painting.

It is of two women the first one is sitting down like at a drafting table or maybe a table that was used for needlepoint? The second one is standing on her left hand side admirering whatever the first one is working on. They are both in victorian gowns. They seem to be in a living room or parlor.

Does anyone have any idea how to find out about this painting?
