This picture (a print) was a wedding gift from my uncle to my parents 65 years ago. I've often wondered about the location and who the artist was. Strong Cornish connections in the family so maybe Cornwall?.
Any suggestions? Thanks Hildilid Last edited by hildilid : August 9th, 2009 at 03:43 PM. |

I saw a copy of this in a shop with the signature, not terribly legible, visible in the lower left hand corner......I think it's the work of the Newlyn School artist Frank Wright Bourdillon though I can't find it on the net right now.

Thanks for taking the trouble to post to my thread. I have a friend, whose parents also had a copy of the print in the past. She has connections with Penlee Art Gallery in Cornwall and has been making enquiries there.
