Default Does anyone know

Does anyone know anything about and/or the whereabouts of a picture previously owned by my grandparents, Mr and Mrs Lewis Tomlinson, from Garforth Leeds W Yorkshire. It went to auction in 1998/99. Its a french ink drawing of a horizontal french pavement scene. Alongside the pavement is a high wall. In the centre is a thin gentleman with high collar and tails holding a cane. He had a large crooked nose and could have been wearing a top hat. I think there was a street vendor of somesort and someone on crutches too . I also remember there being a crouching dog pooing. Mum said its from the french revolution era (1789) but not much else. Please let me know if anyone can shed any light on this picture

Sounds like something out of Charles Dickens 'A Christmas Carol' or 'Oliver Twist'. Perhaps by John Leech or George Cruikshank. Just a wild guess.
