Default Help Identifying possible William Theophilus Brown painting

My wife received this painting from a friend who used to own a Gallery. It was in a corner under several other pieces and it caught her eye. It is signed "Brown '56" and we have reason to believe it may have been painted by Bay Area artist William Theophilus Brown. Can anyone help identify this painting?

Have you rec'd any reply on your question? I know Bill, I can ask him. It certainly looks like it could be one of his paintings.
