Help with information

We own painting that appears to be an oil on canvas. There is a Certificate of Authenticity on the back from Collier Art Corporation. The title of the painting is Nude by Verdi. It is 12x16 and is dated May 24, 1978. I have searched the web for information regarding this piece and haven't been able to find anything.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently the artists tend to be untraceable. ie fictional.
