Hi, I Know Very Little About Art And Even Less About The Picture I Just Bought. I Know It Is A Reproduction But The Picture Is So Pretty I Would Like To Find Out More About The Artist. I Think This Might Be An Oil Painting (?). The Painting Is Of A Lady Wearing A Grayish Color Dress With A Big Square Collar In The Back And Her Hair Is In A Bun. She Is Sitting Beside A Newborn Baby Sleeping In A Bassinet. Her Left Hand Is On The Hood Of The Bassinet And Her Right Hand Is On The Side As To Be Rocking The Baby. The Bassinet Is An Older One An Has A Bow At The Top Of The Hood Of The Bassinet. The Colors Are Very Soft. It Looks Like The Name Of The Artist That Is In The Top Right Corner, Is Emile Or Emily. I Can't Make Out The Last Letter But I Believe It Is An E. I Can't Make Out The Last Name Either But The Date Is 1878. Any Help With The Artist And The Name Of This Beautiful Picture Would Greatly Be Appreciated. Thank You,
