Default From the Prado Madrid Autumn 2007 - who is artist, or what is theme, etc...?

Was at the Prado November of 2007 and snapped this picture there, yet have no recollection of the artists name/where from/theme. A procession, wedding, etc.. am not finding this via Google images.
Any help or leads would be appreciated as I would like to research this painting furthur.
Thank you all who are curious to help.
Susanna

Damn your good saintmarc. I spent quite some time last night trying to locate this artist, however, in the process I found an artist I just adore. Pieter Bruegel the Elder - simply wonderful. http://www.abcgallery.com/B/bruegel/bruegel.html

Slainte!

Here's a link to the Prado painting, with a bit of information about it. It zooms in nicely, although the viewer takes a while to load.

P.S. Eirene, of course I love Pieter Bruegel as well. But over time I have come to like the work of his son, Jan Bruegel, even more. Here's an example from Dorotheum. His skies, his landscapes, his animals... perfection.

Interesting link John! (Prado) But with a great mistake about the dimensions of their own painting which is really 403 cm long. However the text speaks about "monumental figures".
(Did you receive my answer to your kind message?)

THANK YOU!

What a saint you are saintmarc.
This is an engaging painting to me, and I want to introduce my son to it. I have done some online research which yielded nothing, until your eye and mind brought it to me.
Gracias senor.

OH that is nice. So direct. Thank you John; takes me back to two years ago. This is a fine and lush painting. Good to revisit it.
Again, thanks to you, and Marc.
