Trying to identify a painting - picture inside!

An acquaintance of mine is desperately trying to find this painting, as it sold at a HomeGoods right before she went to purchase it. Any insight at all??

Is it just me or does this look like an interpretation of Modigliani's Jeanne Hebuterne?

I think we are on to something about Modigliani - a friend of mine talked to their art professor who said precisely the same thing. It was obviously contemporary and also obviously influenced by him.
